In the far south of Chilean Patagonia, a dwindling group of men known as 'puesteros' live in near solitude, tending livestock across vast private ranches. Once seen as symbols of freedom, their way of life now stands at a turning point, amidst unprecedented drought, modernisation, and a system that offers no real retirement, forcing many to work for as long as their bodies allow.
