Praise for Coffin's Patch

What fun! It was a great experience to read a book full of adventure and mystery that is also an excellent teaching aid for teachers who are endeaving to help their students prepare for the SAT tests. The book moves quickly and is full of intriqing characters. It is filled with background related to diving for gold which should be most appealing to young readers. As a former teacher and teacher educator at the college level, I highly recommend this book.

Where has this guy been? I hope that there will be more books coming in the future. Sam Burchers has woven a tale that you will not put down once you begin reading. The flow of the plot holds you to the characters and adventures and even the technical dive information is woven in a way that creates interest and doesn't lose the reader in its jargon. Added to this the book creates an SAT vocabulary base that is helpful and interesting for any age bracket. Great combo, great read, and great entertainment.

"Coffin's Patch" reads like an old fashion mystery/adventure, couldn't put it down. The treasure diving experience is authentic, anyone who has put on a mask and flippers will enjoy reading this treasure hunting adventure in search of fifty million in Spanish gold. It reads and plots like a movie; I'm looking forward to the next Sam Burchers mystery adventure novel! Highly recommended reading, puts difficult words in context and will expand your vocabulary.
