Coffee, Wine, and the Magic of Words was created to help others through different happy and sad moments in their lives. By writing, it has helped me stay positive and experiences the magic of words and how they make you feel. If I had to describe my poems, they are witty, romantic, daring, hot, fun, to the point, and full of life.

Carissa Kopf is passionate writer who enjoys creating poems and writing stories. Her first endeavor in writing poetry was when she was asked to write a poem for a literacy class in college. That poem, 'The Great Wanter' was published in 'Cassandra, ' the college's literacy journal, in 2005. From then on, she started her journey writing poetry.

Carissa is also the author of Time For Me, a romance /suspense novella that has earned her 5 star reviews. Time For Me is available worldwide at your favorite online retailer.

Carissa makes her home in New York with her family and two cats. When not teaching, her fingers are dancing across the the keyboard creating art with words. She also spends her time cooking, gardening, and making beach crafts.
