Two Americans who dared to defy a hostile government. Ten children whose only crime was belonging to the royal family. An escape story as suspenseful as any action thriller - but every word true. This description may be from another edition of this product.
If you are interested in Ethiopia this is worth the read

Jodie Collins was married to my cousin Denton and they spent their lives as young adults in Ethiopia as missionaries. So even though I didn't know them well (because of their long absences from the US) we all followed them during the overthrow of Haile Selassi and were concerned for their safety. The family was grateful that they had escaped safely. When Jodie wrote the book I bought it out of familial obligation. You know.... support the efforts of family, but I did take the time to read it and found it gripping. The most interesting part was this was not an action/adventure novel but normal people doing extraordinary things. So if you have any interest in Ethiopia it's worth a read. I found it very very interesting and was glad that I not only bought it but actually read it.
