This is a comprehensive guide for new and prospective cockatiel owners. I found it very thorough, since it covers everything from preparing a cage to providing the healthiest and most nutritious foods.The health care section, worth the price of the book alone, advises owners not only on treatment of injuries and diseases, but tells how to avoid problems in the first place. The illustrations are helpful. The stunning color photos are some of the most phenomenal I have ever seen in any pet book!If that weren't enough for the average pet lover, there are also tips on breeding, training, and selecting these wonderful creatures!
