This is a fiction book based on facts in which I used the "Commander Naval Forces Vietnam Monthly Summaries" known as COMNAVFORV as the historical reference for this book. It tells the story of the beginnings of the Coastal Surveillance Force, later called "Operation Market Time" tasked with stopping the flow of men and weapons smuggled into South Vietnam by sea. Using fictitious characters to help tell the action story of major incidents involving Navy and Coast Guardsmen as well as small ships patrolling the coastline and the entrances to rivers. Battling a tough enemy and the giant waves pounding the coastline during the rainy season known as Monsoons. Through all this, the sailors along with the South Vietnam Navy assisting Allied Ground Operations with blocking forces and Naval Gunfire Support. Follow along with these men and learn the little known adventures of the U.S Navy's Brown Water Navy.
