Even UNC fans should read this book

I read this book in 2 sittings and, if you have the time, you will too. I never would have thought an author could capture Krzyzewski's life in a mere 215 pages, but Gregg Doyel does just that. Doyel is so unbiased in this book that UNC fans would even enjoy reading the chapter 'Daring the Dean,' which goes into detail about Krzyzewski and Dean Smith's rivalry. A die-hard Duke fan will know a lot of the material in the book, but Doyel writes everything so that even old information flows to the reader like it's brand new. There are also many bits and pieces of information that not many Duke fans would know. Who knew Mickie, Mike's wife, spent months hiding out in Korea to be near her husband while Mike was in the Army. Considering that Krzyzewski didn't even want this book written and didn't give Doyel much cooperation (who could blame him! the guy just had hip surgery and was recovering when Doyel was researching and writing this book), and the fact that Doyel have but a few months to write it, the book is fantastic! Look out John Feinstein, there's a new authority on college basketball in town!
