Cnute the Talking Skull

In 1035, in Amiens, France, ten-year-old Raoul and his cousin Walter make an extraordinary discovery-a talking Viking skull in the marsh of the Somme River. The skull introduces itself as Cnute Fine-Feather and speaks to the boys, seeking their help to free his spirit. Cnute explains that to release his spirit, Raoul and Walter must help defeat Cnute's clan, Viking draugrs who are trapped in Niflheim during the day and in Midgard at night.
