Cantico espiritual y otras canciones de San Juan de la Cruz [Spanish]

By Amancio Prada

Upon its publication in 1977, Amancio Prada's musical interpretation of 16th-centrury mystic San Juan de la Cruz's Cantico Espiritual left attentive listeners certain that they had encountered a truly singular work. Today a classic of highbrow Spanish popular music, Cantico returns, revised and re-mastered together with new compositions by Prada. This edition, the most complete by the artist and dedicated to San Juan, includes recordings of all of Prada's interpretation of San Juan's work, as well as the complete poetic works of San Juan and more.
