Waiting with the jitters of anticipation. Waiting with the doom of hopelessness.
Solitude magnifies the suffering, but then it enlarges the heart to accommodate a lot more than what we ever will. This is the beauty of solitude; we rendezvous with things that we never knew existed.
'Clover or Dandelion? or the Ice it is?' a collection of 57 heartfelt poems about the journey through the ice, cold, and the blues. Honest, earnest emotional acceptance of the darkness within and outside. Our desire to constantly add drama, never escaping the loop of nostalgia.
At the end of the day, there is an end to everything. The wait does end, thank God for nature it never disappoints. So even though it is a long spell of cold, the birds do chirp and the seeds do burgeon from the heart of the earth no matter how cold its core gets. The hidden anticipation amidst the brooding.
