One of the best books I have ever read

I can't even begin to describe this book- it's historical fiction, sci-fi, and social commentary on current events all woven into one incredible story that somehow manages to flow seamlessly. The characters are flawed and lovable and so real. It's the kind of writing that transports you into the scenes in the book. Incredible. I am recommending this book to everyone.

Loved it

This is such wonderful book to read. This is a different type of reading. You progress through story lines and pick back up where you leave off to advance forward again then back. I still think about the characters and the way in which the story is told. I am not doing this review very well but maybe to say, Just read it and you won’t forget it.

Doerr knows what he is doing!

One of those books you’ll think about for some time after you put it down.
