A collection of contempory free style and other poems based on obervations of habitat and ordinary life pursuits. Big blue sky parades pour through keyholes from America's rustic past. Frontier dreams are kept in a lock box at the dead poet's society. I wanted poetry to be in rhythm with the sea; the great expanse, furious highs, dead calm lows, and cleansing foams. The 19th century french poet, Charles Baudelaire, said it best: "Which one of us, in his moments of ambition, has not dreamed of the miracle of poetic prose, musical, without rhythm and without rhyme, supple enough and rugged enough to adapt itself to the lyrical impulses of the soul, the undulations of reverie, the jibes of conscience?"
