This creative piece follows Forza, a young girl living in London with her family, as she discovers a group of mice in her home and the neighbouring house. Led by Hercules, the mice speak both Italian and English and face danger from pest control hired by Ms. Scalloposh, who is setting traps.

Forza, eager to help, provides food and information to the mice. Her adventurous spirit leads her to climb the wall into Ms. Scalloposh's yard. Forza often uses Italian phrases and shows compassion, especially when helping her new friends or expressing herself with charisma.

Close to Freedom is a heartwarming story about friendship, courage, and the importance of standing up for what you believe in.
