It's early 1939, Polish Banker Daniel Levi comes to Nazi Germany with a hope to participate in Nazi Fabricated economy. But as he gets transferred by his office, Daniel finds an essence of mystery, hiding under every corner of building, a quiet scream, which want to come out, but cannot come out, as hands of a mysterious entity is strangling a targeted community and suffocating opposition with fear. Soon Daniel regretted his decision to move to the Third Reich.
But all of a sudden, Daniel's son, David's young adolescence eyes fall on Ingrid, the blonde German girl, next door. Little did they know, their love is being built on a road of uncertainty, where living tomorrow is a dream, and living yesterday is an achievement. A love they knew they couldn't hold onto, yet they clung to it with all their hearts.
Like clock pointers drifting apart, Jewish Levi family had to leave Germany, as first cannon shot was fired on Poland, leaving everything behind, including David's adolescent love, which was as beautiful as Adam's Garden, where Angels used to rest on its beauty.
As years pass by, David's heart continuous to hold the single name, "Ingrid" as it desires to have her back, knowing maybe she is not alive anymore, whole Berlin has been demolished.
Fifteen years later, when fate's clock hands align once more, David is determined to reunite with Ingrid, no matter the cost, even if it means facing death itself.
David is unaware of just how much the world has changed. Germany is rebuilding itself, and familiar streets are now occupied by strangers. Still his deep love, forces him to look for Ingrid, again and again.
As he walks through the streets of Frankfurt, a woman passes by. Her scent, a faint, familiar fragrance, revives long lost memories he thought were long buried. Turning to look, he sees her blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. In that fleeting moment, they tell a story he once knew: a question left unanswered, a tragedy, and a war that changed everything.
Will David reunite with Ingrid after fifteen long years?
Or will it be another tragic tale swallowed by the ravages of war?
Can love truly survive the scars of history, or will fate tear them apart once more?
