Clobetasol propinate is a drug which is used to treat skin reactions like itching, swelling or reddening which results from several skin diseases as such as eczema and plaque psoriasis. It exists in various forms such as spray, emollient, gel, ointment and cream. This drug is meant to be applied on the skin on the affected area particularly, not on closed areas such as the groin, underarm and armpit areas. Clobetasol is registered under a brand name called Impyoz and it is under a class known as corticosteroids, and other drugs which are under this class perform the same function.
