Poorly produced formula sort of zombie plague.

The Plague (2006) AKA Clive Barker’s The Plague (2006) We started with the world’s children going comatose and wiggling a lot. Then we get to watch a Hallmark family and friends play. Will this ever stop? Come on, let's see the plague and hope that they all get wiped out. There is a cast of never-heard-of actors, and you hope never to see them again. And why all the tinkly piano music? At least it is not louder than the dialogue. But it can irk you after a while, even in the ending credits. No, it turns into a cheap quasi-zombie movie with more than gratuitous blood and guts. Escape to safety. It is kind of like that commercial where they hid behind the chainsaws. OH no, the car won't run. Where are you going to go anyway? Once again, you hope all the Hallmark people will get shot.

This movie has a different twist . Compelling .
