Clinging to the Edge is a collection of short stories about strong characters experiencing the extraordinary along with the mundaneness of every day life. One character is depressed but able to use humor to get her to the next level of hope for a different outcome. The other is a tired single mom looking for hope. One is experiencing compassion fatigue and PTSD while the other is just having a lovely day as she pauses to experience the connection that is there between herself and those who came before her. This read is uplifting and the characters describe many of us in our walks to take care of the ones we love and continue to be better people ourselves.
