Generations after the fall of civilization, a desperate tribe survives atop the ruins of the Eiffel Tower, clinging to strict rituals that exile mutated children to the wasteland below. When Nanky, a feral, tailed girl, is almost cast out during a time of drought, she is given the option to join a small scouting party searching for food and hope, with her fate to be determined by her behavior. As they journey through the ruins of Paris, they face terrifying creatures and an eerie enemy: a towering, conjoined mutant duo climbing toward the Tower. In the overgrown ruins of Notre Dame, the group encounters the "Saved"-peaceful, mutant-like beings who reveal a forgotten connection to the tribe above. With time running out, Nanky's presence and the mutants' unexpected humanity force the Tower's survivors to question who the real monsters are-and whether it's safer to stay above or return to the world below.
