This book looks at the history of Earth's climate and the many forces which cause changes on many time scales. There are more things to worry about, given the turbulent history of the Earth and the solar system, than transient changes in CO2 level. Atmospheric gases, man made or not, are just a few of the factors mediating climate change. Here we will try to examine all the 'suspects' which may be causing what we see currently, by looking at the statistical 'fingerprints' of these 'suspects' over time and by matching them to many scientifically studied climate variable histories studied in recent years. We will also look at what the failures of current IPCC models and forecasts teach us about the role of exotic, real world, non-linear dynamic models of climate and how we can discover them more reliably, using new techniques and notably by exploiting Machine Learning. My first book on this subject I called 'Climate Chaos' which summed up the situation nine years ago. Since then much new real world evidence, science and mathematical capability have emerged and slowly the truth about Climate Change is emerging. We are not facing an apocalypse. In fact the slow slide into the next Ice Age is already well under way.
