This story is about a young Indian girl and a young white man. A story tells of how the Cherokee Indians were treated by the United States Government and Andrew Jackson,"Old Hickory" and about his famous "Trail of Tears". You will see how some Indians escaped the fateful march and how they stayed in the country that had been their home for hundreds of years.
