Book condition was disappointed

I bought the book in Good condition, when i received it front cover was torn and the cat in the front was missing, and when i flip the pages some sliders dont even work. It was a big disappointment, how can someone resell it as a good condition...it is honestly below acceptable. But aside from the condition that it was supposedly sold in, the book was fun to read to the little one.
