Classy and Sassy is a book of poems and songs that explores the themes of love and friendship. It honors the things that add meaning and depth to our life. Some of the songs are based on a friendship of 15 years that ended because he decided to do drugs. I wanted him to quit being self-destructive. He didn't want to stop his habits. The friendship ended because I couldn't sit by and watch him destroy himself. I also speak about the jealousy that I had endured throughout my life due to my success. I didn't realize that trying to make my mark on the world would lead to so much hostility and hatred. I hope that Classy and Sassy reminds people that they are not alone in their problems and that it provides them with comfort.
