Philosophy...interesting??

I ordered "Classics in Political Philosophy" (3rd edition), and while I was amazed at the sheer size of the book, the content is actually pretty interesting. Of course, some of it, such as Plato's "Republic" or Aristotle's "Nichomachean Ethics" can be difficult to understand for the average student, since they are such old pieces, but Porter did a great job at summarizing and arranging the material. I only wish this was available in hardcover, as the paper cover I have is getting very worn.
