The Best Book to Learn the Concepts of Optics

This book gathers all the important concepts of optics, and especially the ones which are more difficult to grasp, and describes them fantastically. The author is very original and also very clear in describing the concepts. The book, with its examples and explanations, is an interesting read. I read it in my weekend leisure time; relaxing on my recliner and contemplating the concepts of Optics; so enjoyable

Great book

I strongly recommend this book to those who already have learned optics in undergraduate level and want to dig more about this area. This book contains a lot of interesting and important optics phenomena, which are written in a very clear way and shown by vivid figures, just as the lessons Prof. Mansuripur is teaching.

Amazigly well written

I bought this book after looking a few articles by Masud in Optics and Photonics News. Very well written, and low on mathematics, masud succeeds in telling his story with the aid of examples and pictures. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in optics and wants to get a broad overview of many concepts which are relevant to this field. You won't find a better introduction than this book.
