Years ago when Twentieth Century Fox Home Video experienced a collapse, many criticized some of the company's questionable financial choices. Maybe so, but many, many choices for the cinephile came to home video because of this and this set shows that. Doris Day's three Fox films aren't her best but Move Over, Darling has a fascinating back story (involving Marilyn Monroe near the end of her life) the DVD explores it well. Joan Collins never hit big movie stardom but Rally 'Round the Flag, Boys!, from the ill fated Collins box set, is an interesting late career offering from Oscar winning director Leo McCarey. On the Rivera, Fox's third version of this story, is a fine Danny Kaye vehicle. Lastly, many interesting people, in front and behind the camera, participated in the omnibus film O. Henry's Full House (with an excellent version of The Gift of the Magi). All is good.
