Still a good read

So far my favorite story has been ‘Dracula's Guest’. The atmosphere seemed so eerie and ominous but intrigued me. I find ‘Kerfol’ slightly mysterious because these dogs appeared out of nowhere and just stare at their unlikely visitor. So far, these stories have proven that a story doesn’t have to be completely terrifying to be good but just with a hint of ominous and wonder. The longest story I’ve read so far is ‘The Turn of the Screw’ and I’m having a difficult time following what’s happening. The story ‘For the Blood is the Life’ is somewhat creepy…so far. A lot of these stories are in ‘Classic Horror Stories’ but this is still a good read. ‘The Yellow Wallpaper’ was surprisingly a little creepy. It took me so long to finish this because I found most of the stories to be boring and uneventful with a few thrills.
