The 'problem' we had with this book was - what to leave out Many, many marques of car hail from the continent of Europe. Indeed, the motor car was invented in Germany. Therefore, the depth of materiel to consider for this book was large. We settled on bringing the reader a broad cross-section of cars and marques from France to Russia, Italy to Sweden. In this instance, we decided to omit cars from the United Kingdom, as we have a book dedicated to models from that region in our 'British Cars in Australia'. The stories in this book are mostly written around the experiences of individual owners and collectors, their choice of car(s) and their thoughts on classic motoring.
