Living in plain sight, and quietly amongst us, is light bearer Clare Alexander (Menderman). Very early in life she could see evil entities that hid in shadows and lingered around people. She developed an ability to dispel dark auras and dark shadows that tormented their victims. Her supernatural gifts disallowed notoriety and so she learned to live remotely and with few friends. Clare's strength of character was shaped by heart-rending sorrow and loss. Then one day a stranger presented himself to Clare and gained her trust. He convinced her to travel with him to a place that could be biblically described as a whited sepulcher. That is to say, beautiful on the outside but consumed by evil on the inside that afflicted all who lived there. Despite her courage, Clare's ability to dispel the evil within that place overwhelmed her beyond her human limitations. As death approached, her traveling companion revealed his true self. A glimpse of his grandeur is more awesome than she can bear such that he fades into a dim and fleeting memory.
