Great book, but why so expensive?

This book is indeed 24 pages and has a sturdy library binding, but I can't understand why it's so expensive [we are borrowing our copy from the library]. Most books of this size and binding cost no more than sixteen dollars. This is a very well written and illustrated book. Any child age 2 to 6 will enjoy the joyous, colorful illustrations and entertaining yet instructional text.
