The beginning of every chapter sets out clearly which elements of the syllabus appear in this chapter with signposting to where the book deals with related areas of the syllabus which do not appear in that chapter. There are also concise summaries of the chapter at the beginning of each chapter to provide an overview of what is covered in it. At the end of each chapter is a road map giving a visual display of how much of the course you have so far covered and how much you still have left to do. You can therefore be fully confident that you have covered the whole of the syllabus without needing to sift out any areas of civil litigation and evidence that are not assessable.
