It's Christmastime, the favorite time of year for the old cat. A special Christmas tree is decorated with colorful ornaments, lights, and presents, and the old house cat is comfortably set in her ways.

The guests have arrived, and they aren't alone. Mrs. D.'s older daughter brought two playful kittens from the city, causing lots of commotion. Their playfulness and curiosity put Nyda in a bad mood, and the old cat had had enough of the pampered intruders. She resented newcomers and wanted to see the kittens leave her home.
