Quite possibly the perfect counting book

This attractive counting book consists of vivid photographs of city scenes. Each is carefully framed to show the appropriate number of items -- buildings, points on a cast-iron fence, those orange traffic cones. Each photograph also contains the appropriate numeral. The facing page shows the numerals in sequence (with the featured one highlighted), the appropriate number of dots, and the name of the number spelled out in large letters. By showing the number in so many ways, this book really helps to clearly illustrate the counting concept. A strong introduction to counting, and visually striking as well. An excellent choice for preschoolers!
