Raises the bar for all doll collecting books

This book is beautiful, very complete and accurate, and fun!! I loved the author's personal recollections of connections to her dolls and her grandmother. The whole book gave me the experience of traveling back to my childhood time (same era as the author's and the Cissettes.) WOW! What an accomplished woman this author is, too. Just read her bio on the flyleaf to see for yourself. Show that to your friends who think doll collecting is for simpletons! I gulped down this book in one long sitting and have referred back to it many times. I love it.
