But with some gumption, she makes her way to a fancy shindig that changes her life forever.

Cindy Feller: An Old West Fairy Tale is written by T.Q. Townsend and Chlo Townsend, the hosts of The Children's Literature Podcast. This story began long ago when T.Q. Townsend entered a writing contest in elementary school. Her story won and was put on as a play at a local theme park. Many years later, her daughter Chlo found the short story in a box of old memories, and the two of them finished the tale together.
