Cindi isn't sure about this holiday called Valentine's Day, but after her people pair dress her up like a flamingo and take her for a walk in front of her friends, and her handsome new neighbor dog, Chip, she doesn't like it at all! She and her BFF, Pitty Pat, have been watching Chip ever since he moved in next door. She wants to meet him, but not like this! Have you ever changed your mind about something? In this outrageously funny story, meet some of Cindi's fur-friends and find out if she changes her mind about Valentine's Day.
MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
Cindi’s Chocolate Valentine by Beverley Reichman is a very cute book about a dog, Cindi. Her people parents dressed Cindi and her kitty friend Pitti Pat up for Valentines day, and I’ll tell you, they didn’t like it so much. Especially if Chip was gonna be there. But if he was, Cindi might just change her mind about this pink and red with chocolate Holiday. I love this book and I think children will as well when they see this adorable dog on the cover. And on the inside this book is even more beautiful. Janine Rhodes does a fabulous job with the bright vivid illustrations throughout this book. I love the colors and I think your child will sure pick this one for Valentines Day. This would be awesome for school and daycare libraries as well. Cindi’s Chocolate Valentine by Beverley Reichman gets a Four Stars from me.
A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.

Cindi's Chocolate Valentine is a cute little story by Beverley Reichman. It is part of the author’s Cindi the Teenie Chiweenie series. I enjoyed Cindi’s little tale of finding about this special holiday called Valentine’s Day. This sweet pup sets out with her best friend, Pitty Pat, the kitty cat, and others of what this day really means. It is a fun little adventure with various characters of different animals. It was entertaining to read what Cindi finds out along the journey. I could not help but smile throughout the book. I really liked it.
Cindi's Chocolate Valentine is illustrated by the very talented artist, Janine Rhodes. I enjoyed seeing the visual of what Cindi and her friends looked like. The pictures are a perfect addition to bring this story to life. They are beautifully colorful and creative.
I am giving Cindi's Chocolate Valentine a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who are between the ages of four and eight, as well as, those who are excited about Valentine’s Day. It would be a great addition for annual Valentine reading in a classroom or local library’s story telling time. I will be looking forward to reading more by Beverley Reichman and her other books from the the Cindi the Teenie Chiweenie series, in the future.
I received a paperback copy of Cindi's Chocolate Valentine from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
