Readers will encounter concepts such as color, time, size, shapes, and more as they answer questions relating to colorful cut-paper illustrations. Nancy Mar a Grande Tabor's concise and direct questions encourage thinking while her charming characters entertain. In both Spanish and English, this unique counting book challenges children to learn new vocabulary while reviewing counting and fundamental concepts.
This is a really fun book, great for kids of all ages, whether they know a little Spanish or a lot. The questions and answers (in both English and Spanish) are interesting. This book has more than just pictures and numbers . Children are asked to count various items on each page. My 12-year-old liked to read the sentences aloud in Spanish, and even though she knew very few Spanish words, it was easy to get the meaning from the pictures. We read two to four pages at a time each day, until we finished the book.
