Book Overview

Cille Hodges meets the love of her life at her debutante ball. She later marries Lieutenant Patrick Woodbury, follows him to Fort Rice, Dakota Territory and they later homesteaded. Known as Cille by the whites, and Rides Alone by the Indians, she makes her mark in the history of Dakota, her way. Her story should have been lost along with time and the many dust storms that whip across the Bad Lands.
