Chris Metcalfe is a Detective Sergeant with Serious Crimes, Met. Police. Following the death of his wife accidentally in an East End gangland shooting, he is sent with the feisty DC Alicia Fearns to work with the Portuguese Police on the Algarve. They are having many problems with the criminal fraternity among the British ex-pats who live and work there.
