Revised edition, second printing. Edited with more photographs. This is the first in a series of six books available in paperback and Kindle. This particular book (volume one) contains documents, information and an introduction to the five gentlemen characters. All are historically well known citizens of the world. The books explore their experiences with the occult, metaphysics, the supernatural and the influence of these energies upon their own creativity, spiritual growth and ability to transcend angst and the horrors of war. All six of the books are filled with documents, photographs and maps. This first one contains photographs of German prisoner of war camps in the USA where the author was fortunate enough to experience childhood in one of the barracks that housed prisoners located in Camp Opelika, Lee County Alabama. Growing up in the very building where prisoners of war lived greatly touched her young heart and inspired her to become a sculptor. She fell in love with sculptures on the prison camp grounds that were lovingly and longingly created by German POWs; intricate castles of their beloved fatherland. Each member of the group of five is given his own book in the series to introduce himself to the reader as he interacts with his friends as their lives unfold during the Boer War, World War I and World War II. These books are historical fiction.
