I am happy to introduce the first novel in a series, Church: The Awakening. It is a novel based on a true story and told through the eyes of the main character, Keondra. She is raised in a religious cult with the belief that she must do God's will or suffer His wrath. She witnesses exorcisms and beatings performed in the name of the Lord. Her mother is the leader of the church, and Keondra is expected to follow in her mother's footsteps. However, she must first walk a dark path to have everlasting life.
