If the technology existed to send a short message back in time, who would you send it to?

Certain death approaches at the hands of the Warlord's forces. Already at his shores, politician Wolfgang Weiss is fast running out of options. A computer virus has knocked out the obvious defences, and most of the rest of the modern world to boot. Some of the people around him are not what they seem to be either: engineered superhumans created by a shadowy organisation that he knows far too little about. Caught between bad choices and worse, he risks the inherent paradox latent in the technology he invented decades earlier to send messages back in to the past. His target is the only person available that he thinks might trust him: Dr. Sheila Taylor. In turn, she takes it upon herself to deduce the problems and turning points that lead to the Warlord's ascension and global domination.
