Christmas Matters, Again

By Allan B. Thames and R. Grace McElroy

In Christmas Matters, Again Allan's now 12-year-old granddaughter, R. Grace McElroy, once again supports her "Gimpy" with a wonderful Christmas present she wrote and gave him in 2025, "The Christmas Crisis". Her latest story which was complete with color illustrations appears (without the masterful illustrations) at the front of this book. "The Christmas Crisis", "The Angel Who Could Not Fly", and "The Cow That Was a Deer" are her latest contributions to the Christmas season in this book.

Use this as a holiday devotion book and follow along daily with Allan's thoughts such as this one from December 26, 2025:

"There is also an Asian fellow who walks there every day who never speaks with anyone. As he passed me, I with my red Santa hat perched brightly on top of my head, called out to him, "Merry Christmas." I don't know if he smiled so big because someone had talked to him, or because I had wished him "Merry Christmas", but the first and only words I have ever heard him say were a very stilted, in broken English "Mewey Cwistmas". It was glorious for me, and for him, too, I hope. Suddenly, I realized he doesn't speak much English. "

Christmas Matters, Again is full of the Thanksgiving/Christmas Spirit because through and around and behind every story, poem, song and thought is the beautiful Christmas package of Christ that you can unwrap as you read.

Never be afraid to wish anyone a cheery "Merry Christmas" or smile to a happy "Mewey Cwistmas" because Christmas Matters, Again
