Europe has many wonderful old traditions, and one of them is the Christmas market. The Christmas market in Ljubljana, Slovenia has made it to the top 10 in Europe. It is because of the many activities taking place there.The Ljubljana Festive Market has little published history as a Christmas market, but the town was founded around 50 BC as a military encampment Iulia Aemona for the 15th Roman Legion Apollinaris and as a trading post, so a market was there early.
