Mrs. Mayberry Meets Her Match by Susan Page Davis

From snow-capped mountains to dusty frontier towns, these tales weave together themes of redemption, divine providence, and the healing power of love. Historical Romance

Christmas Mail-Order Brides is a Christmas trilogy. The Old West was a challenging and adventurous time in our country’s history. The men and women of this time period were pioneers but they were also just as human as we are. They wanted love and a family. Sometimes mail-order brides were the only way to accomplish that goal. And sometimes love comes from unexpected places! Looking for a sweet read? Then, you’ve picked up the right book. Christmas time, children, love and the old west; what more could you ask for? I received this book from Celebrate-Lit for my honest review.

Warm & Fuzzy Christmas Read

What a great collection to start off an early Christmasy feel. Sometimes being a mail order bride turns out differently than what you imagined but just the way God had planned which is even better. These stories leave you with that warm fuzzy feeling and maybe a tear or two. It’s nice to visit the 1800’s and get a peek into the circumstances that women found themselves in to become mail order brides. I enjoyed revisiting Amelia Mayberry and her Matrimonial Society for Christians of Moral Character. An all around enjoyable read that keeps you engaged from the beautiful cover to the last page. I suggest getting this on your TBR Christmas pile asap. I received a complimentary copy from CelebrateLit/Wild Heart Books. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.
