Christmas Lite

Jodie calls her family to a special dinner during a Christmas of uncertainty for this family-her husband Vic's been out of work for six months. Jodie announces it will be the end of the Macaroni & Cheese they've been eating lately and they are going to put the Christmas tree up tonight. The kids aren't very enthused when they hear there won't be many gifts under the tree. And Vic is upset: "Why are you putting up a tree? I thought we agreed it would just make things worse." As the conflict mounts between Jodie and Vic, the kids duck out to the kitchen. When they return they are able to defuse the situation a bit as the family does their best to hold out hope for a change in their situation. A mixture of honest doubt, frustration and hope characterizes this drama as faith is stretched and relationships are challenged.
