Very early Balogh - thankfully she has improved vastly

A simple storyline, with not very engaging leading characters- the man especially is shallow, weak and easily manipulated. Way too many secondary characters who are not really characters or even relevant- just names clogging up the pages. But it interesting to see how Ms Balogh’s talent and style have developed, for which we are most grateful.
