Jesus of Nazareth enlightened society about the importance of human relationships, and I accept that message as true. But does his history truly indicate that he was the Son of God?
Consider this: if a woman told you today that she had been impregnated by the Creator of the universe, you would reject that idea as preposterous. But when the same sort of information is received from the ancient past, we sometimes accept it as true.
How can that be explained? Should these ideas be affirmed as facts, or should we acknowledge that they are actually myths?
We need to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff in regard to our religious beliefs. That is what this book is about.
