This book highlights some of the difficulties that Christians around the world face as they try to live the Christian life. Many are taken from their homes and beaten into unconsciousness; others have their homes and churches burnt. The enemy of the church go Jesus Christ seems to be emboldened to bring more and more persecution as we get near the end of this age of grace. However, as Dr. Jenkins points out some of the atrocities taking place he also shows that there is hope for those who put their trust in Jesus Christ and gives assurance that God will see them through every adversity that comes their way. Dr. Jenkins points out that our religious liberties are being eroded all over the world and especially in his own Country of Canada and prays for all people to turn back to the God of the Bible to receive true relief in the face of adversity. THERE IS PEACE IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM but it is only found in Jesus Christ the Lamb of God - the Savior of the world. Dr. Jenkins does not promote hatred - he promotes the love of God to all who will accept it.
