These treasures express nothing else but those Biblical verses - ask, and it shall be given you, etc. - Provided that the two verses have canonical truth in themselves, the given sentences are also true, and the human possesses a freedom over which he is not only amazed, filled with thanks, but which he can seldom entirely comprehend. - In the art of asking, seeking, and knocking lies hidden the great secret of humanity, and we have nothing to do but learn and practise this art in order to make our lives into a paradise.
