The purpose in writing this book was to explain the resurrection and to confront those people who believe that at the rapture the believers who are alive will disappear without a trace from this world and go to heaven without some form of death. As I explained and defined in the introduction of this book, death is the separation of this worldly body of flesh and blood and bones from your soul. I believe that this is explained very clearly in 1 Corinthians 15. I believe that the Bible teaches that as it says in Hebrews 9:27 (NKJV) And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, I was born in June 1940 in Columbus, Georgia. God has graced me with a wonderful wife, two beautiful daughters and one genius grandson. Even though divorced, I have been ordained a deacon in the Southern Baptist Church. I even served one term as chairman. I have taught Sunday School and served 5 years as minister of education. In my worldly endeavors, I served in the US Airforce for four years, I worked several years as a structural draftsman, and I also worked as a construction estimator. My wife and I currently reside in Dalton, Georgia.
